Great, hopefully he can replace Smith in the line-up. This makes up for trading a 4th for Vern freakin' Fiddler.

If that's all the Devils were going to get for him why not just keep him and play him when he's healthy again?
PAP has a broken finger at the moment, so that had to hurt his value.
I'm curious if anyone knows whether it's a '17 or '18 pick.
Whats his cap hit? If its manageable, CHI should have done this. ****

Pick is seemingly 2017 (Stupidly enough, information on nhl.com is not fully official, but it's likely correct)
Its a 2017 according to the Devils.
The Preds didn't really need him, but he's close to being a 20-goal scorer when healthy and adding another of those can't be a bad thing. By the time that his finger heals, someone in the top 9 might go down to injury. He's the kind of depth that's good to stock up on with the playoffs nearing, especially when the price is so reasonable.
Is parenteau a free agent at seasons end?
