This kind of thing has been happening for years. If it were the Rangers bring a player over from overseas, it likely gets fast tracked as well.

Yesterday I went to make a DMV appointment for my kid to get his learner’s permit. The next available appointment is in October. October. That’s the reality of government services in the USA right now.
