which one of the most recent ufa signings outside of Bunting have looked good

The Kampf-Kase line has been pretty awesome tbh, especially considering their heavy dzone usage.

The points will come.

Have you been watching the games?
Kase has looked great and Kampf has been really good too.
That line has been driving play really well, especially for their usage, and considering the cap hits you should be calling Dubas a genius.

Yep. Stats aside, even just watching the games recently clear as day Kampf's line has gotten some very tough done assignments. He's definitely not the player you skin the box score the next day to evaluate.

is there a player you believe isn't playing great , lol

i didn't realize we were grading on a scale
it's pretty well the only logical way to grade players with our bonkers cap structure.

But I'll admit I definitely don't think they've been playing "very awesome" by any stretch of the imagination.

Ritchie, Tavares, Holl, Simmonds, Engvall (kind of)

I do think Ritchie will work better with Matthews/Marner though and I am not worried about Tavares long term.

i agree but when our bargain bin guys hit the ice we don't get spotted a goal because they make less than their counterparts

i always respect a person who'll go down with the ship , lol

I just want to point out to HF Boards that Ritchie was your first choice.

Funny how your crowd thinks only one side of the debate is biased. You’re just as deluded if not worse.
so the crowd that's usually right is delusional ?

every year it's the same , the so called unbiased positive posters come on here gushing over every new scrap heap addition then it's "lol , no one was expecting anything from a player making peanuts , there just place holders until super prospect x is ready" once they've proven why yet again why they were on the scrap heap t begin with

Ritchie if left with M and M with put up a few puts as a passenger but he won't add much if anything other than to hang around the net .

You didn’t answer the question, point proven.

Nick,

Tonight's the night! This is the wise words of Dallas Eakins. Show us! Show HF Boards! Show them! Just Show up and show them!

“Show them. Show them you’re willing to trade a bus ride to Peoria for a cab ride to the Air Canada Centre.”

Too many 0's already beside this guy's name.

2 shots on goal in 2 games? 0 shots on goal in the game against the Habs.

Played over 13 min a night on the top line.

Who's more deserving in the top line: Kase, Bunting, Kerfoot, and even Kampf.

He's in a race for last place with Simmonds and Amadio.

Please don't come in this thread to tell me that "TOR has only played two games."

Sorry Nick. You are getting demoted soon

You only have 1 chance at 1st impressions.

Get better. Much better. Some jobs are on the line here. So is your career!

TOR has only played two games.

ppl will say this coz it's important.

the discussion you jumped into was about the bargain bin players not about the entire team and i answered that question

right now Willie and Campell are the only two playing great imo if that's what you want t know

and the biggest elephant by far when taking into account salary is Tavares

Ok I need to post this. From google:

What does elephant in the room phrase mean?

: an obvious major problem or issue that people avoid discussing or acknowledging

So when an endless line of people come here to tell us that Marner is the elephant in the room they don't seem to be taking the phrase into consideration.

The Marner thing has been mentioned to death. He is not the elephant in the room.

I use 'elephant in the room' tongue and cheek, but no one mentioned him in pre-season or the first 2 games of the regular season.

Ritchie is not making a strong push to stay on the top line. He has to be better. We all need to notice him. He's been somewhat invisible so far. I don't have anything personal against him. I just wish for him to do better. If he proves wrong then great.

Are we still blabbering about 3 games in where the player in question actually had 2 decent games? Seems like someone is dying for attention....again.
