Too many 0's already beside this guy's name.

2 shots on goal in 2 games? 0 shots on goal in the game against the Habs.

Played over 13 min a night on the top line.

Who's more deserving in the top line: Kase, Bunting, Kerfoot, and even Kampf.

He's in a race for last place with Simmonds and Amadio.

Please don't come in this thread to tell me that "TOR has only played two games."

Sorry Nick. You are getting demoted soon

You only have 1 chance at 1st impressions.

Get better. Much better. Some jobs are on the line here. So is your career!

Bunting so far is the most deserving to be bumped up in my opinion, but I've been happy with everyone not named Ritchie thus far.

Also. I have to say it, it HAS only been two games. I hope he turns it around and finds his game with the boys, being that big angry garbage truck parked in front potting the dirty goals, but so far Bunting seems more up to the task.

Check back after playing with his planned line mates in about 1 month when Matthews has returned.

17-20 goals book it.

It was clear from the beginning that Ritchie will be our most disappointing aquisition this offseason. Just from reading the Bruins board. But not after two games, give him 40 more at least.

Looked fine first game: screened the goalie well on a goal, had a block, took the body.
Second game he threw a few hits, had a couple of shots but turned over the puck a few times being cute and was also noticeably slow.
No surprise that there is a histrionic thread made immediately into the season after one poor game, one okay game and a fine preseason where he scored 3 goals in three games and had a fight in defence of a teammate.

Im hoping he has more to show, because other than his net front presence so far he hasn't been great.

....but only 2 games so far right.....

Looked good in preseason. Looked ok in the first game. Sucked against the Sens but so did a bunch of others. I'd give him a few more games. Maybe 12 to 15. I'd also keep that line together when Matthews is back. If he can pot 15 goals, around 40 points and provide a little rough stuff and be somewhat of a deterrent, then I'd say it's a successful signing.

Step back from the ledge..

On second thought jump, that way you'll stop posting this nonsense!

(figuratively not actually, if you need mental health support go get it)

How miserable are you when watching games?

C'mon man. You've seen his career stats. He's not going to knock our socks off with fat numbers. I like what the element he brings. The elements he brings have become highly undervalued. He has literally been primarily responsible for some goals scored on PP already (several in the preseason, Engvall goal in Game 1, Sandin crossbar) , he just didn't get an assist for effectively screening the opposition goaltender.

Looks exactly like I thought he would.

big body, goes to the net, decent hands, will score 15-20 goals because you of that.

Also, some combination of slow/out of shape/lazy which makes him ineffective pretty much everywhere on the ice besides the front of the net.

First impressions is that he looks slow and chasing they play on many occlusions, and it appears to make JT look slow and the line overall not very effective after the first couple of games played based on early impressions.

If this is suppose to be a Hyman replacement it isn't a very good one. Kase and Bunting have both been more effective in trying to fill that role.

Lets see what Ritchie -- Matthews -- Marner looks like, but I get the feeling that NR will be the 3rd wheel on that line as well, where only crashing the net and banging in a few rebounds will be his contribution beyond being the bodyguard for his linemates when thing get physical.
