His strong point is not worrying about the future. Perhaps that's the exit strategy, spend like there's no tomorrow and sell before the reckoning arrives.I think a better plan would be to go for it in 2026-27 but attendance is so low that I think DD wants to go for it this season and not worry about future years right now.
Me too, but the other way aroundFor tonight in the Soo. I predict IceDogs with a 6 to 2 victory!
I think you need to manage expectations to a degree. Can’t help but notice that all the naysayers and analytics don’t post here unless they can pile on DD. Never see them support or possibly enjoy how well this edition of the IceDogs are doing. Almost as if success annoys them. Great fans!
the analytics model shows that both Brampton and Brantford will pass Niagara in the standings this weekend. Long overdue, the model showed 6 weeks ago that it was to occur in short order.Ok, giving up lots of shots is bad.
I choose to focus on the stellar goal tending, the 3 game winning streak, getting 7 out of the last 8 points. In the last week we have had two excellent players return from injury. 2 points out of first in the Conference and we are getting close to the half way mark of the season.
Amazing. Nobody predicted this, not even me.
Countryview is correct. This thread is more active when we are losing than winning. Which is just plain nutty.
Don't think for a second I won't be back to tell you I told you so when they free fall in the new year.the analytics model shows that both Brampton and Brantford will pass Niagara in the standings this weekend. Long overdue, the model showed 6 weeks ago that it was to occur in short order.
Is that going to be after the trade deadline where Brampton and Brantford might load up and address flaws; and when I told you six weeks ago that Niagara might be passed by those teams? Maybe statistical analysis and interpretation just isn't your thing.Don't think for a second I won't be back to tell you I told you so when they free fall in the new year.
Giving up that many shots and goals is not a sustainable model for success.
which would mean Wassilyn is still a member of the IceDogs? My Christmas Wish is that the Ice Dogs go on a streak winning every game up to January 10th, and that Wassilyn collects 0 points during that streak.

If you think giving up that many shots and goals is going to equate to a success story in Niagara I don't think you are the right guy to be questioning other people's opinions or models. Is that going to be after the trade deadline where Brampton and Brantford might load up and address flaws; and when I told you six weeks ago that Niagara might be passed by those teams? Wassilyn, conditional picks (Luchanko 2025-26 season) for Alriksson & Luchanko; let's see itOf course not. Lol.
Seriously though, FWIW, Luchanko wins draws and is responsible in his own end, blocks shots, drive the offense etc. And yes, I know Wassilyn is a gem.
Dude, your model has been wrong for six weeks; or, statistical analysis just isn't your thing. Not liking the IceDogs will not make Brampton and Brantford better. If you think giving up that many shots and goals is going to equate to a success story in Niagara I don't think you are the right guy to be questioning other people's opinions or models.
Not against FloresMe too, but the other way around

Dirty. Speaking of statistical analysis how is Lirim Amidovski doing lolIs that going to be after the trade deadline where Brampton and Brantford might load up and address flaws; and when I told you six weeks ago that Niagara might be passed by those teams? Six weeks ago I told you to re-evaluate your data as Brampton and Brantford would not pass Niagara in 'short order'; but in the new year after loading up, yeah probably. What is wrong about it?
You guys are 8-8 in the last 6 weeks after going 13-5 the first 6?
Please make you're shot at me make sense.
I'd say i was pretty much bang on predicting the path forward for Niagara????
Why try and throw shots when i was right all along? Now you just look stupid.
Why are you quoting "short order" when i never said that? lolSix weeks ago I told you to re-evaluate your data as Brampton and Brantford would not pass Niagara in 'short order'; but in the new year after loading up, yeah probably.
