What else would we have to add?

Because IF it's true that Byfield is out there (which I highly, highly, HIGHLY doubt).......the first thing that popped into my head was Power for Byfield. Kinda like the Johansen for Jones swap of years ago.

I don't think the add to Cozens would need to be that much. Their progression has basically been the same.

Man that would be an exciting deal.

My ONLY hangup on Byfield - he hasn't played much at center. Is that purely because of the Kings loaded center spine? Or do they really think he's better off on the wing?

So. With no playoffs this year either we should look to trade atleast : Zucker, greenway jokiharju this deadline and Krebs, Byram , Samuelson cozens this summer

We should not "look to trade" Byram. We should look to keep him long-term unless he's not interested or if the trade offer of a lifetime comes around.

Until there is leadership in place that has a vision for what type team they want to be, i.e. firewagon, NJ death trap, LA physical, I think it is folly to move assets like Cozens at the deadline. UFAs? But roster moves are too late at this point and likely better made innthe offseason.

Trade deadline next week. I see lots of rumors about other teams but nothing coming out of Buffalo.
