Apologize if this has come up before but I couldn't find it so...

Was looking at Bobby Hull stats while reading the Hull/Espo thread (voted Hull).

Noticed that his 1969 +/- is a plus-12 on NHL.com now:
NHL.com - Stats

While it was previously a minus-7, as seen on hockeyreference.com :
Bobby Hull Stats | Hockey-Reference.com

While plus/minus is questionable, a jump from -7 to +12 may have some people completely change their view of Hull's 1969 season.

Have there been any notable adjustments to the NHL's recounted stats (aside from the Rocket's extra assist)?

Errors happen all the time. Scoring summary from the Canadiens game last night

Detroit Red Wings vs. Montreal Canadiens

Not corrected, down the road, readers will think the Canadiens actually dressed and strategically played seven LW.

Similar situations throughout history whether Red Kelly not getting credit with Detroit for games or times at center or LW or swingmen being listed for only one position.

These aren't "errors" in the same sense as the original thread implies (and are far less interesting) - the difference being that the NHL has no intention of getting the game-level detail of positions correct in last night's DET/MON box score, and they're intended to reflect long-term positions for players (which they still get wrong on occasion).

Example also illustrâtes the rangeof possible discrepencies between the early edition of newspapers, before changes were made and the final edition of the same newspaper same day after changes were mad.

Always had the rush to be first with the news not the most accurate. Be it in the internet age or anytime since the start of the NHL.

Although interesting, how is that relevant to the NHL changing their own statistical totals?

Is there any extra points added to players final numbers? Other than Richard. Also since sawchuk had 445 wins instead of 447, when did brodeur actually pass sawchuk?
