NHL slapshot Gretzky Wii (the game with the hockey stick)

Please don't come at me about how old this game is, the console I use etc.

The truth is that a lot of us still have our Wii systems and you can find many fun games for less $.

Did anyone play this game in 2010? Is it fun using the stick, etc.?

I have played it. It sucks ass.

I played it. Was fine for it's niche, but that's about it. The mechanics weren't great or reliable, and it was just 3-on-3 youth tournaments mostly that were almost impossible to not dominate. Don't think I ever stuck with it long enough to get further than that.

Would be pretty fun with a kid, but if you're an adult looking for a hockey game to play on the Wii, just get an old 2K game.

Depends what you like. Very bad for management style game (2k was more fun for that).

Gameplay is arcade-y so it can be fun if you don't look for realism. In the "be a pro" mode you will dominate the league but games go fast. I did not use the stick too long though.

For cheap ($5-$15 range) it's a fun game to pick up and play for a bit
