Does anyone know when the NHL schedule for the upcoming season will be released?

It’s late because ,Winter Olympics isn’t decided yet.

NHL plans for return to 82-game schedule, previous divisions next season

The NHL plans to release the 2021-22 schedule before the 2021 NHL Draft on July 23-24. The NHL is working on two versions of the schedule -- one that includes a break for the 2022 Beijing Olympics, and another that does not -- pending the resolution to ongoing discussions with the NHLPA and the International Olympic Committee.

From my understanding they are going with the Olympic break. For me that is great because I do shift work and the Olympic break covers 2 weeks I work Evenings. lol

And I have a road trip to visit friends in Dallas/Phoenix/Seattle for April 2022. I had an undeserved sense of accomplishment entering that into my calendar.

Back to back is always going to be a thing! And it's fun to see who the schedule makers like and who they hate. Not a lot of love for Buffalo and Arizona as both have to play 17 back to back games. But McDavid is getting a lot of love with only 8 back to back games.
