Nice, had something similar in my mind, just like I did with rosters at the WJC or WC, but decided this time, that I don't have much time for it. I wanted to divide all NHL players on the WHC according to their respective teams + some info, but this is better approach.

This is going to be very good thread if you will be able to keep it updated. Thanks for this.

Thanks! I will keep it updated on a daily basis, after every game is finished on said day.

I will continue adding in players from more countries tomorrow after work. I'm trying to find confirmed NHL additions for each nation. Help is welcome in this department :)

Some other confirmed names are Tobias Rieder, Dennis Seidenberg and Thomas Greiss for Germany, Jesse Puljujarvi, Sebastian Aho and Mikko Rantanen for Finland, Zemgus Girgensons for Latvia, Antoine Roussel for France, Denis Malgin for Switzerland,

Sorry if the title becomes a little misleading. I've decided to add David Musil, Jan Kostalek and Dean Kukan to the list. Neither saw any NHL games this year, but play in the minors under NHL contracts. So I'm thinking fans of the Oilers, Jets and Blue Jackets would want to keep track of how they're doing. Musil and Kukan got call ups to the big league in recent seasons.

Pavel Zacha is injured and is not going. It is very likely that Musil and Kostalek won't make the Czech team, so it is not needed to have them on the list right now.

Thanks. I removed them again as well as Kukan who I imagine is in a similar situation. Removed Kruger also because he's not yet confirmed.

Added Kempny.

Okay, so today we start.

I've updated the lists based on the official rosters from the IIHF's website. All players on the list must have played at least one game in the NHL this past season, that's pretty much the only criteria. This means no Theodor Blueger, Patrick Russell, Oleg Yevenko or Dean Kukan (AHL'ers with NHL contracts). No Vadim Shipachev or Jakub Jerabek either, both who've signed NHL deals for next year.

The reason for this is HF only allows 30 images (in this case flag) per post. And with the possibility of more NHL'ers joining teams as the tournament goes along, I want to keep some spaces open.

I will update the stats daily, though I'm not sure if I will sort them by points or leave them as they are now, alphabetically. If I sort them, it probably won't happen daily.

Stats updated now that the preliminary round has concluded.

I'm guessing we won't be seeing any more NHL'ers on the rosters. And so, because there's room, I've added Oleg Yevenko (Columbus/Belarus), Dean Kukan (Columbus/Switzerland), Patrick Russell (Edmonton/Denmark) and Teodor Blueger (Pittsburgh/Latvia) to the lists.

All are signed to NHL contracts, but spent the entire season in the minors. Kukan saw some games in the big league last year.

Whats up with Jack Eichel? I haven't caught many American games or highlights, but he should be dominating here with his speed on open ice, and a chip on his shoulder, seeing how upset he's been in Buffalo?

Any Americans can chime in?

Very good on the PP, dreadful 5vs5. Was about to land in Blashill's doghouse because of sloppy linechanges and turnovers. I don't think he improved by any means but he did get over 19mins of icetime vs Russia.

Injury? Or just lacks heart/intensity/IQ?

I don't know. Probably IQ. Nobody has more shots than him (30) but he hasn't scored a single goal. May also be the European Ice. He's been very good on the PP though playing alongside Hanifin, Lee, Larkin and Gaudreau on the 1st unit.

He's been arguably the team's worst forward in 4 of the team's 7 games. Just awful effort, not paying attention, selfish, slow, and lazy with the puck. It looks like he thinks he's too good to be bothered to give an honest effort.

He's had a few nice passes, for sure, but for every 1 good shift he's had, he has about 15 bad ones. I know some people think he's been good on the PP but I don't even think he's been that effective there.
