nhl in england uk

I was just wondering how comes the nhl don't come to the uk like london i think it would be great plus i would love to see my team {red wings} play and at the moment i have no chance of that i think the nhl should look into it you might be surprised how many people would come to watch it just look at the nfl for starters . Let me know what you all think .

They came in the past to the O2 but that was way back when the O2 and Kings were owned by the same person, don't know if they still are. Way back in 2007 now. They continued the international games but they haven't done any for the last 3 seasons. Lockout in the first meant they were cancelled and since they haven't been back. It is a shame really, but it is what it is. Red Wings have played in London before in 1938 mind. With the way that the NHL gave TV Rights to Premier Sports I wouldn't get your hopes up about them being back soon.

its a shame really i would of loved to have watched the red wings in england would of been a great experiance to be honest but oh well looks like i would have to save up to go america and see them lol
