Rule of thumb you have better odds of getting an impact player with a D... But some wingers can become franchise cornerstones.

Something must be said also about the fact you have better odds finding a top 4 D in the late 1st, 2nd round than impact offensive players. It is easier to spot the best offensive players so they tend to get drafted earlier.
