Lamb is US High Schooler right?

Just so many better options right now
This may be 100% true, but I remember the same things said about Stepan. Not comparing him to Stepan, but this late in the game, I don't really sweat it too much.

Lamb is worth a shot this late, even if there are others player I would have preferred. Vasinen has some third line upside so a decent pick there too.

Sure. We can see. I don’t want these guys to fail. I just don’t agree with the board; which is fine. Lamb put up numbers as an overage high schooler. We will see what happens

It's hard because there is value and need in what Drury is doing. It's just the way we're doing that I have reservations about.
It's like because they have become "rich" in assets, they've gotten a bit profligate in their spending. The Buch deal was 70 cents on the dollar. The Othmann pick was maybe 95. Grubbe 85. Thereafter, the values seem back on track, more or less.

I'll give the organization a pass this year, the reason being that a lot of leagues never even played last year, I'm assuming a lot of them are going off scouting from a previous year maybe, this draft was weak anyway i guess, i really wasn't expecting much from it.

Seeing the Reinhart deal really hurts given what we got for Buch.
I feel kind of the opposite, Reinhart is the better player and proportionally they got screwed about as much as we did. NBA-style lotto protection on the pick - I would have said it was ok if it wasn't for that, because who knows what the Panthers are going to do any given season.

Probably a situation where there weren't enough teams that could clear cap space for Buch or Reinhart that they would also want to stay with.

Everyone was a massive reach, guys who aren’t on any ranking lists, guys who don’t even have pics on EliteProspects; except for one faller they grabbed in Korczak. All players low ceilings, low skill, gritty.

You said that about a guy they took exactly where he was ranked.

How are they all low skill and gritty? Korczak and Lamb sound like the exact opposite.

Now that Buch was traded in a bad trade you're going to be insufferable about Drury like you were insufferable about Miller and then insufferable about Trouba, aren't you?
