I like Drury as a player as far back as his BU/Avalanche days. The shine is definitely coming off.

I like him, though I always felt he was overrated and the praise overstated.

Working for the league it was like there was a concerted effort to try to turn him into the Derek Jeter/Captain America of the NHL.

And to some extent I felt like I saw that as an executive as well. So it's not that he's bad, it's that everything feels overly praised.

Oh 100% I am really going to date myself here but wasn’t he knew of the faces of Easton as well? Like when the original Synergy came out? He was all over their marketing for that.

I always find it weird for a player to fall because he's commited to a KHL team.

Chibrikov has 2 years to marinate, if not more, in the KHL... I really dont get the issue. He has all the talent you would want from a player...

I’m amazed, yea the trade wasn’t great but no GM hits a home run every trade. Also considering we all bitched about the kids not getting enough ice time, well guess what. They are going to get more ice time….amazing
