Their lines for us were interesting... They had Bjugstad, Shore, Barkov, Howden all in

I think Shore and Barkov are locks. I wouldn't be surprised to see Howden make the team because we need help on the wing. But he's going to need to have a stellar camp. I thought he started to play with more confidence last season despite the limited ice time.

To me, only Bjugstad doesn't really fit as of now unless Dineen was open to moving him to the wing. Personally, I wouldn't be against trying it out. However, with Bjugstad's size and reach he's got the potential to be a great defensive center, especially down low.

I wanna see more from Howden this season. Everything he did last season + more. No regressing.

Howden, if he's makes the big team needs to come out of the gate like Shore did last season and keep it up(at least the effort) for the whole season.

I would love to see a line of Bergy-Huber-Howden to start the season(since Versteeg will start on IR). Those speedy wingers will do wonders for Huber and will help him get more space. And we know what he can do when he has space.

Howden in his few games blew Frolik away for unluckiest hockey player ever.

He did EVERYTHING right except record a point. It was like some ghost like outside force was stopping him rom getting a point!

He dazzled,he hit, he sped, he faked outta jocks, he hit the post, got his own rebound and dazzled another guy and made a beautiful pass and THAT guy hit the post....

THe poor kid, it's like having Bure's "lost shifts" youtube without all the goal scoring youtubes to go with it.

Shore had the same bad luck in the beginning of the season. He could have scored 5 goals more than he did if some bounces went his way or the goalie didn't rob him.

Hopefully this coming season, Shore and Howden get some better luck and put up 40 points each ;)

That's putting it politely, Bjugstad centering the first line and no Bergy etc...

Bjugstad as our first line center... besides having a monster wrist shot the guy did zilch in 11 games with us last season... on the third line...

Seems like the guy creating the projections doesn't really know our team at all, but then again, probably an intern writing the piece.

yea i dont understand how so many sites know nothing about our lineup. yahoo didnt even have bergenheim in our depth chart (maybe they havent updated from last season) and listed versteeg as a LW and had selleck as a top-4 rw for us. and i dont understand, with matthias, flash, versteeg, huberdeau, bergenheim, goc, kopecky, you know barkov will play, upshall, now we got gomez, where in the world do these sites and writers see bjugstad, shore, and howden all potentially in there? yea theyre our top prospects and theyll be up soon, and of course theyll come up when injuries happen, but theres simply no room for them now. if we trade goc at the deadline then i see bjugstad coming up permanently, and shore will only come up for injury call ups, same with howden.

and the 30for30 video, he says flat out we simply dont have the talent to make the playoffs, i dont think we will make the playoffs, but we could definitely make a push, i dont see us that radically out of it if we stay relatively healthy. if tampa continues to struggle with their D and goaltending, i dont think much of toronto, i think the sabres will have a rough year, i could see us fighting with montreal for the wild card spot potentially.

And why move Huber to center? He appears more suited for winger at the NHL level, not to mention we have the big bodied centers coming up the system as well :shakehead
