Vezina

Jack Adams

It'd be sweet to see Varly winning the Vezina, but I just don't think it's possible after the season Rask had. Hopefully Varly can keep it up for years to come and win 1-2 after he sets career highs (again) on our future cup winning roster.

The ONLY scenario he wins in is if the eastern votes get divided up between Rask and Bishop and Varly eeks out the majority of the west.

I don't think Varly will win the Vezina, but MacKinnon, Roy and O'Money should win.

Haha, good stuff. I can totally see Nate's dry sense of humor and goofy smile going on during that interview. If you didn't know his personality from seeing him all year, he probably sounded way too serious in print there.

Ryan seems a little too into Hugh Jackman's body.

Too bad he didn't interview Patty. Would have made the X men question hilarious.

I just....dont...like...Dater, to be polite.

"How long did it take you to get over the Game 7 loss?"

If I was Varly, I would have told him to **** off.

I was looking forward to having my avatar as the Lady Byng winner but not while there's contract nonsense to be sorted out. I hope Roy wears a nice tie for his pictures.

Funny to see Ryan O'Reilly (who will likely win) and Martin St. Louis going up for the Byng. One is in his second contract holdout at the age of 23 and the other cried and demanded a trade because he wasn't picked for the olympic team. Sportsmanship at its finest.

Roy and MacKinnon are locks to win.
O'Reilly is probably favorite (that's an extra $250k/year)
Varly probably won't win.

Anyone else think Varly steals the Vezina away from Rask? At first I didn't think he had a chance but there seems to be more talk about him winning recently. Both guys on NHLN predicted Varly would win and one of the guys on TSN (maybe Johnson) also thinks he'll win.
