EA Sports has opened their cover vote for fans to pick the cover athlete to grace the cover of their new release NHL 14 hitting stores on September 10th.

Anze Kopitar and Dustin Brown are the King's candidates for this years vote.
 
A Kings player will never win an open vote, though I will still vote for them anyway :P

Kopitar came close last year during the cup run, but everyone was infatuated with Giroux and his playoff points total and regular season he had.
 
I always choose the weaker of the two from the other teams, hoping to knock off someone who actually has a chance.

Though I'm having trouble deciding between the ducks candidates.
 
I can already tell who is going to win, Taveras ,Malkin, Chara ,or Subban.

One of them is a lock for the cover.
 
I'm seriously blown away that they completely ignore the reigning Conn Smythe trophy winner. These votes are bogus anyways in my mind. I think they pick who is going to be on the cover and throw out a vote so the fans can feel more apart of game per say. In my opinion, last year, Giroux was their pick all along. The just went along like the fans voted for it.
