AFTER ANOTHER PRESIDENT'S TROPHY WINNING SEASON, EDMONTON OILERS ARE READY AND PREPARED TO REPEAT AS CUP CHAMPS
Lead by the offense of their star C Gareth Morrison, the Oilers are prepped and ready to threepeat as Stanley Cup champs. "Anytime you get a chance to win back to back it's something special. But if you can win it three years running, then you know you're up there with the greatest of teams." says D-man Shea Weber.
Here is a look at the upcoming playoff scenario:

Coyotes captain (Antoine)Vermette had this to say about meeting up with the powerhouse Oilers team: "We know that they have an extremly skilled team, in all areas. But last year we upset some teams, so we're hoping to use that to our advantage this year. Anything can happen in the play-offs."
Thats an interesting idea. What are the stats for your created Center and Dman?
Well, when I started the C was
6' 190 around a 78 OVR with ABA Pot
and the D was
6' 4" 205 around a 78-79 with ABA
I had them play 2 full years in the AHL before I brought them up to play with the big team.
Oh and an update:
Oilers win the Cup!
I'll post a full play-offs recap later tonight.
I wanted to do this too. What I'll do is move Erixon, Dubinsky and Anisimov to Columbus and Delisle to New York, but keep Nash. Right at the start of the season, I will trade him with that 3rd round pick in 2013 for New York's 1st round pick in 2013... That way I will have the pick.I've decided to do the post-Rick Nash Blue Jackets. Will try and get the first report up later tonight.
Do you have their full career stats as well?

Beast. kind of want to do something like that now... but have them drafted!
how can dominating and winning all those trophies with injuries and the salary cap off be any fun? i would lose interest QUICK when i know that without a doubt i would win the Cup at the beginning of the season in a video game.
now if i felt that way about my team in real life, thats a different story.
i had my write up for the 2nd season in my columbus be a gm on a piece of paper but now i don't remember where i put the paper
Congrats! Pretty nice having ahl team win cup as well. I've never pulled that off...2013-2014 SEASON (57-14-6)

Ottawa Senators celebrate after eliminating Minnesota to capture the Stanley Cup
GAME RECAP:

(GAME 4) Ottawa @ Minnesota: 6-1 Minnesota
(GAME 5) Minnesota @ Ottawa: 6-3 Ottawa

(GAME 7) Minnesota @ Ottawa: 4-1 Ottawa
After 22 years, the Ottawa Senators have finally captured there
first Stanley Cup in modern franchise history. Led by captain and
Conn Smythe winner Jason Spezza, the Senators came back to
win the series, despite being originally down 3-1.
All though Ottawa came in as clear favorites, many were shocked
to see them down in the series, and after being blown out 6-1 in
game four, doubted there chances of coming back.
Game five took the series back to Ottawa, and having them face
elimination. "We knew we needed to play better from then on,
and any mistake would cost us the cup." said head coach Paul
MacLean. With the roar of the crowd behind them, the Senators
responded with a 6 goal game of there own, and closing the gap
3-2 in the series.
In game 6, it was a very back and fourth battle. With Ottawa
scoring the first goal just minutes in, things seemed to be clicking
the way the hoped playing on the road, until Dany Heatley tied
things up at 1, and making for a very intense third period. With
just 3 minutes left in the period, Jason Spezza scored to secure
the game, and force a game 7.
With everything on the line, the pressure of a game 7, mixed with
the talent of Ottawa proved to be to much for Minnesota, and
ended up a blow out, with the Wilds goal coming in the last 2
minutes of the third period. Goaltender Robin Lehner for Ottawa
stood on his head for back to back games, and played a huge
roll in the Senators come back to win the Stanley Cup.
"It's an unreal feeling, I can't put it into words. It's something
you dream of as a kid, and to finally be there, its incredible."
