It was studied by someone in the media a few months back, wish I still had the piece done on it. But it was staggering and not a good sign for Polk.

Welcome to Foxboro, Mason Graham.

Good lord, you'd think being almost dead last the previous year would lead you to make some changes.
Wild but I believe you

Polk was a ok pick at time but like most here I wanted McConkey

I put him at 60 % he makes it (50 receptions or more this season) but he better keep his eyes on prize & mouth zipped around Zabel

Graham works for me

1. Titans: Ward QB
2. Cleveland: Sanders QB
3. NYG: Hunter CB/ WR
4. Patriots: Carter? Graham

Deshaun Watson situation has Cleveland pinned in a corner. They absolutely have to eat the cap for one more season AND need a solution at QB. I don’t see them passing on Sanders. I don’t see them spending big on a free agent QB considering what they’ll be dishing out to Watson. Myles Garret requesting trade, they’ll need something to sell to the fanbase. Not sure Abdul Carter is their guy.

Everything I've seen is that Carter, Hunter, and Ward are going top 3, in some order, so they're probably picking between Graham and Campbell at #4, and Campbell may get eliminated this week depending on how his arm length measurements go.

I haven't watched the full media availability, but all of the quotes I saw made it seem like he understands what they did poorly last year, but didn't exactly have some detailed plan on how they're going to ensure it doesn't happen again. Didn't give me a whole lot of confidence that we're going to see some massive improvement this year.

I honestly think Vrabel is kind of just killing time until he can replace Wolf with Cowden in a year. That was such an obvious "we already hired your replacement" hire. Vrabel's words about roster input versus Wolf explicitly saying he has final say on the 53-man roster was a pretty big red flag to me.

You mean like building an entirely new practice facility?

So there's nothing they could do to get better scores in all other areas unrelated to the building of a new training facility? But yay, we can all rejoice in the spring of 2026.

Every time I see Campbell mentioned I see the throw in that he could end up better as a guard. If that's the case and Graham is viewed as a can't miss DT prospect similar to Chris Jones/Aaron Donald then that's what I would prefer. Not expecting him to be them but if there are concerns that Campbell is better at guard give me Graham.

I think there's some similarity between Graham and Campbell in that they're probably a bit safer than some of the other prospects in the 5-10 range. Even if he's not a tackle, Campbell can probably be an above average guard. With Graham, not sure he has the highest ceiling among all of the DTs in this class, but I'd be surprised if he's not a long-term starter at DT. I think the floors of the other options are lower.

I hope Kraft gets harassed in his personal life for employing Elliott Wolf and not having the stones to fire him. The hate he received for Mayo should increase tenfold for wolf.

I just prefer to never see/hear Wolf again. Shove him in a locker. If you want to give him a stop watch and let him watch some film with Matt Groh, fine. Just don't tell me he has any power at all here. Nothing he has done in his career going back to latter years of Belichick suggests he is deserving of that.

You don't use 4th overall on a guy with the assessment of "yeah he's not a fit at his position but he could be good at this one instead"

What in the living f*** could they have done that comes close to qualifying as "too much" for Polk?

Sneaky thing that probably hasn't been discussed enough: their WRs coach has never been a WRs coach before. He's got 20 years of NFL experience, most of it coaching offense, but he's really a QB coach.

As the NFLPA pointed out, the Patriots hired a family services staff member and added a family room and daycare during games. They improved their family services grade from F- to C+.

It's clearly a work in progress, but they seem to be making an effort.

This tweet reads like they have had this system ready to go for some time now. I highly doubt it was just pitched to them and they approved immediately.

I am still a little skeptical of how this will work. Let’s use the Josh Allen play. Is there a vertical forcefield at the 1st down marker that will then send a signal if ball touches that line? I need to see this in action.

You ever see the system they use for instant replays in tennis?

Same sort of thing.

It's been used in the USFL/UFL in recent years:

Ashtrays? I used to think the last person to smoke on a plane was D.B. Cooper.

I've read the implementation is strictly once the referee spots the ball they then use the technology, removes having the chain gang run onto the field.

There will be no real time 'did the guy make a first down as the play is run' type of spotting.

We will have a better idea who we are taking once we see which UFA's we sign, prior to the draft.
I think one QB will be taken ahead of us and Carter and Hunter for sure.
Its a two pony race for me, either Graham or McMillan.
TM is being compared to Mike Evans, who ran a 4.53 40 at his combine. This will be a good benchmark I am watching for to compare them.
I do not want an OL picked with our 4th pick. There is no generational talent like Sewell.
Campbell is a nice pick in 10-15 slot.

If this works out well, I'd like to see a sensor/chip in the ball for those 'did it break the plane' plays at the goal line
