Buffalo Bills The Doldrums of the NFL Off-season have arrived

Well we don’t always get what we want. That doesn’t mean it’s a bad pick. I wanted Swinson. Or Watts.

This group Beane has built on D will generate a better pass rush. Have faith.
Unfortunately. Wanted McConkey/DeJean last year. Was told to have faith with Coleman & he'd learn how to separate in the pros.

Beane's last two drafts haven't been good. Hope I'm wrong.

I can’t say that I’ve ever seen LJ play but I really like what I’m hearing about him. In Beane we trust always.
Listen to Marino’s review on him in the video I posted. Marinos the best in the business imo.

I hated the trade up for TJ but after watching his highlights and listening to JM’s review — I’m excited about him. Highest rated win rate % out of all DT’s. This dude + Oliver are going to f*** shit up on the inside of that line. I wanted a 1-tech but the more I watched on Sanders the more I liked

Right now.....that's setting up to be need #1 next offseason......especially if Milano doesn't get most/all the way back.
Could also be a position they address in-season with a trade if Milano regresses. Beane has made a pretty significant in-season trade two years in a row. Safety is another position to keep an eye for a potential in-season acquisition.

Coleman was developing fine until Poyer hulk smashed him. I wasn’t a fan either but he was looking pretty good before going down. Book is still open on him and those drafts.

Yeah, it's waay to early to make final judgements on the last two drafts. They also only had 3 picks in the first 4 rounds in 2023 and came away with 2 outright starters and someone who's currently a backup (D. Williams). Shorter was a little bit below value as a 5th round pick, but they did fine with their first 3 picks in 2023 - with a chance to come out exceptional if any of the 3 continue to progress and develop.

Coleman also outproduced most of the receivers taken around him on a per game basis (including Worthy). McConkey was the outlier in the late 1st/early 2nd, not the norm.

Feeling kind of meh about Jackson

I think my problem is I just can’t see this regime ever sinking 3 straight picks into offense even if it was warranted while we constantly pour a shitload of resources into an underwhelming DL
This offense is coming off its best statistical season in the franchise’s history. This D has been letting Josh down abs Beane has primarily focused on improving multiple aspects.

I think people just like to bitch.

I mean you have to start drafting some game changing talent if you want to actually help Josh out. That's what McConkey looks like. Coleman looks to be a WR3 contested catch guy who can't separate. You want much more from your top pick.

Eagles/Chiefs have been getting ballers on both sides every draft. Meanwhile we're still taking guys that need 3+ years to develop & the "book is still open on them"

We got a better version of AJE almost 30 picks after he was drafted 5 years ago and people are bitching.

Epenesa had more impressive college tape than Jackson. He absolutely bullied offensive linemen in college. I still think it was a huge mistake when the Bills asked him to cut 20lbs and change his body type, I felt like he lost a lot of power in his rushes.
