Buffalo Bills The Doldrums of the NFL Off-season have arrived

Hope that's not the plan. Drafting a guy high wanting him to dramatically change their playing weight gives me Epenesa vibes.
If he were 15 pounds heavier, he's be the same as DaQuan Jones. As a 21 year old, a few cheeseburgers and a year in the weight room will get him there without loosing his movement skills.

Those movement skills are what set him apart from the 330 pound space eaters, so this is a good pick, IMO. The run on D-lineman is on, so the trade-up, while a bit rich, seems OK if they really wanted him.

The trade up value seems just fine to me.

I know some are annoyed they didn't add a hulking 1-tech, but given they still failed to get DL pressure on the QB last offseason, I don't mind them priotizing pass rush over run stopping at all.
There’s prioritizing

And there’s neglecting

I strongly disagree. Plenty of young players coming into the league can add significant weight with an NFL program.
Like who? What players have put on significant amount of weight?

Maybe like late developmental picks. If you're taking a guy with a high pick there shouldn't be an expectation he needs to significantly add weight.

And a lot of our inability to stop the run is/was on the inability of our LBs and Hamlin to take proper angles. That's where the bulk of our big runs allowed generated from.
