Buffalo Bills The Doldrums of the NFL Off-season have arrived

As a Florida State fan, I have a serious personal vendetta against Travis Hunter. But trading that pick is nothing short of batsh*t insane.

So, on brand for the Browns.
Wouldn't be the first time. They thought Julio Jones wasn't worth it.

I mean it would have to be because they want Sanders (and believe the rumors that the Giants are going Dart), doesn't it?

They wouldn't. Would they?

And Cleveland isn't dumb enough to have TWO massively paid QBs on the roster, are they?

Oh god....it's gonna happen, isn't it?
My other thought was Jax is buying the smoke about the Giants considering taking Jeanty at 3 and want to jump them for him.

…which would be less insane but still wild.

A 2nd thought here:

Browns stay put at 2, take Hunter. Hunter goes on to have a middling career.

Browns trade 2 to another team...that team takes Hunter. Hunter immediately becomes a 1st ballot HOFer.

I see no other options here.

Under the radar but constant rooting interest this weekend: Pats, Jets, and Phins to botch their drafts. New England feels like they're building something low key - would like that to stop.

A few random thoughts about some likely 1st round picks:

Cam Ward -- Becomes an above-average starter in the league, but not much more. Can win if a solid team is put around him, but won't do a ton of elevation of those around him.

Shedeur Sanders -- A slightly more mobile Chad Pennington. Pretty much the definition of mid-tier starter that needs good/great WRs around him to win.

Jihaad Campbell -- Might wind up being the player with the best career. I see him becoming a near-elite do-it-all LB.

Malaki Starks -- Might not be elite, but will be viewed as one of the best at his position.

Travis Hunter -- Eventually settles in as a near-elite CB that can spring a big play at WR, but spends most of his time on the defensive side of the ball.

Tyler Warren -- Reverses the trend of 1st-round TEs busting/having less-than-expected careers.

Cleveland now owns 33 and 36. If they want to sneak back into the late 1st, that's a prime trade down candidate for us (or any of the other late 1st round teams).
