On car ride home, I was listening to NFL Network Radio on SiriusXM.

Pat Kirwan, he of MANY legitimate NFL connections, was saying that he's heard from multiple people in the know that there isn't a whole helluva lot in the way of trades being close. Said that he's heard that as of right now, there isn't value in trading down; no one is offering value to come up and get a guy because a LOT of the league has similar value on a LOT of players.

Nailed it. I assume ON-L was still on the board at 62. Would probably have gone that way to lock up a 1 and a 3, but I also have a huge draft crush on Collins, so, no complaints. Investing in strength across the D.

-Sal Downplaying interest in Grant trade up (with the depth of the position), but possible for Corner at 21 or above if someone they like is there
