Let's goooooo. Made it tougher than they needed it to be but they still got the sweep.

The way the offense has been swinging maybe this is the turning point.

Crap I didn't get to see the 10th and 11th, but it looks like it was a rollercoaster!

Good that they managed to rescue the win and the sweep.

Jays sweep the padres, one of the better teams in the national league!

The blue jays went 4-2 Against the AL-central division leading tigers and the Padres this week

Only five games behind the Yankees for 1st place in the AL East division

Yariel, Hoffman, and Little are probably down. Everyone else should be good.

Urena also likely down after 35 pitches yesterday.

Assuming Lauer goes 4 innings, that leaves Green/Garcia/Fluharty/Little/Fisher to cover 5 innings so they can squeeze by ... but then they'll have all kinds of problems on Saturday as all of those guys threw today and I don't think you want any going 3 days in a row.

I wouldn't be surprised if they try to get a couple innings out of Urena to see if they can get 5 or 6 innings between him and Lauer again.

The return of Varsho and the emergence of Barger and Lukes has turned this teams look around completely.

It's actually crazy we're above .500 when you consider how little the offseason acquisitions have provided :

- Santander and Gimenez both sub-.600 OPS
- Hoffman 6.04 ERA
- Scherzer 3 IP

Barger looks like a freaking All-Star on both sides of the field. He's the story of this season so far. Another 5 times on base today.

Possibly? It feels like it might be a bit of a stretch. But again, things are going to be very tight over the next couple days.

Gimenez is so irrelevant he doesn't even make the list lmao.

Edit: I can't read.
