Roden goes down to make room for Varsho, and then they have to send someone else down to get back down to 26 men after having 27 men for the double header.

Could easily happen given the manner in which we are losing.. People do not like to go to the ballpark to see 3 hits a game and no homeruns.
Clase has to go down because he was the extra guy added.
It's too bad Orelvis started off really cold. I would switch him and Wagner.

Jays starters coming back down to reality. Been crushed lately. Vlad and Bo and Santander not doing much.

it is time for santander to start practicing 1st base to give vladdy a rest once in awhile...we cant hit and can only rely on pitching and D...so we cant have his outfield defense

That's about right.
Sucks for Schultz since he looked decent in his small sample, but he was easily the low man on the pecking order of pen arms (though I would've sent down Walker instead, I get that he sticks because he's a second lefty)
Though we are now carrying like 7 guys that are primarily identified as outfielders (Santander, Varsho, Springer, Roden, Lukes, Straw, and Barger) which is wild.
Side note: has anyone noticed that the roster page on Bluejays.com is not easily accessible anymore? I actually had to type "/roster" in at the end of the URL to get it because the nav bar is just about tickets and the stadium and their premium moneymaker club bullshit thing. Like how dumb do you have to be to take the info about the team off the team website.

The only comfort I can give here is that Crochet was all over the place in his last start against the White Sox. Inefficient and hittable.

This team is so useless offensively the pitching staff going from "unsustainably good" to "still really good by league averages" is enough to cause serious issues.
It's the same shit as last year. You cannot realistically expect your starters to constantly hold teams to 1 or 2 runs every night and then just expect the bullpen to not shit itself.

Sad the we lost a game in the 2nd inning. This offense is so disturbingly bad we have no chance.
