Looks like the Lucas bubble has burst for sure. Obviously it did heavily from the Atlanta start, but this might be showing us it wasn't a fluke.

EDIT: To be totally fair, this is what happened with Francis too at the beginning of his tenure. He was baaaaaaad at times. So there's always the chance they can tinker with Lucas a bit and find a way to make him viable. But right now this ain't it.

The bubble didn't just burst, it exploded like a star at the end of its lifespan.

I was cautiously optimistic on Lucas but the thing that that gave me pause was the start against Boston.

People raved about it but that four game series in brutally cold (well, by baseball standards) weather was doing more work than people would like to admit.

I didn't really expect him to do that all season, but still this is an ugly regression.

Not really no.

Bloss has been getting shelled down there, and the other options are tomato cans like Josh Walker and Eric Lauer.

I would assume Bloss is the most likely but i'm not sure him and his 10+ AAA ERA are exactly moving the needle.
