On a side note despite a terribly awful start of a season Vlad is just 1 RBI away from the Jays leaders. Not sure if it speaks more about Vlad or the other guys ...

The Clement/Lukes project should be over. They are both bench players and should not play as much as they are even with the injuries. Try kids.

History shows 2 hitters get the most AB’s, I think.
I’m definitely down with moving Jimenez tho, but I’d slide him further down rather than up, and get Wags/Roden up top when they get settled.

No, the extra at bat is at the end of the game. Hitting 3rd put Vladdy in the on-deck circle as a lot of games ended.

He should hit 3rd if there is a legitimate guy to leadoff. That is not Gimenez, but trying Springer there again might make sense (Gimenez currently has a .308 OBP).

Can't watch the game outside of mlb gameday on the web site so i don't know what was the call on the field but to overthrown a call on the field made by a ref you need conclusive evidence. Basically if the call on the field is out you'll need a replay where you clearly see that the glove actually did not touch him in time. If the call is safe you'll need a replay where you can clearly see the glove touching. Very often the same replay can conclude that the call on the field was the right one even if it is out or safe cause the replay aint clear enough.

Clement has been the better of he and Wagner so far (warming up after a putrid start with the bat and a much better defender). Barger is a candidate to take 3B away (like Wagner and Martinez) long term.
