A lot of us were pulling for you in the finals despite all this.
Sure much of the reason was TB being so far over the cap, but still.
Benching him was a bad move imo.
Lets see how he fits in Karolina karpat.

That's all fair enough. To be honest, I didn't think the Habs deserved to be in the finals - obviously you take it - poor regular season, barely scraping in to the playoffs and then having a hell of a lot of things go right. That won't happen again this year.

I don’t hate the habs at all, but I'm always down for more rivalries. I kinda doubt this whole situation will bleed over into actual gameplay but am excited to watch and see what happens. I also think its neat that while the whalers played Montreal in the playoffs several times and never beat them, since becoming the canes they've beaten them every playoff series they've played. Only 2 as of now but still an interesting stat
Agree with the rivalries, even if it's an off-season one - we need more interesting stuff then! I reckon it could be a spark for a rivalry - would be great to see the 2 teams meet in the playoffs but I don't think we make it this year. Have to work on fixing that stat though!
