100+ mil on Gimenez, Ross Atkins is terrible.

His statcast page is a lot better than last year, and he has a .212 BABIP. His career is around .290.

He definitely shouldn't be batting where he is in the lineup. That's part of the problem. Jays have too many hitters like him.

For today's lineup, I would like to see

Springer
Gimenez
Kirk
Barger
Wagner
Straw

Switching Barger and Gimenez could be done as well. I have said it a few times, but Barger needs an extended run. Also, Roden's statcast page is awful, and his playing time should decrease.

That works. It's too bad they couldn't get another bat after Santander.

Moving Springer to leadoff while everyone gets bumped down or just moving him into cleanup would be the easiest solutions.

With how stubborn Schneider is though i doubt it.

Santander 2 homers, Vlad with a homer, Bo with his first, Jays blow them out 11-3. I don't know what makes me so confident, just a gut feeling they are overdue for a breakout offensive game. Let's hope.

The funny thing as it stands, they're currently on pace to miss their 2024 mark on home runs by over half.

Not a great scene right now. The way it is now, you're expecting essentially 2 bats to drag this offense across the line by itself.

Vlad loses a lot of his intimidation factor when everyone and their grandma realizes they can pitch around him since nobody is driving him in. I'm sure it'll get better once Santander finds his groove, but even with there's a lot of dead weight in the lineup.
