Who else do you move up? Nobody down the lineup is hitting with any consistency. I don't think moving Springer ahead of Santander is a good idea. George is hitting better probably because he's got a lot less pressure on him now.Santander left a STAGGERING 14 men on base Saturday/Sunday.
Why not ease him down the lineup until he starts hitting?
The left on base stats for the Jays is crazy. Dunno if TeamRankings is a reliable site but according to them :Santander left a STAGGERING 14 men on base Saturday/Sunday.

Getting on base a lot via singles isn't producing a lot of runs, even though the bottom of the order has been getting on base all season so far. The lack of big home runs is what has lost this team many games so far.I wish Vlad and Bo would hit more HR but at the same time they are getting on base a lot
Again not sure how accurate TeamRankings is (it's the only site i could find with LOB stats) but according to this site Vlad did not leave a lot of runners on base (anyway far less than the other Jays). I'd say if there's nobody on or just one guy on with less than 2 outs then getting on base should be the focus.Getting on base a lot via singles isn't producing a lot of runs, even though the bottom of the order has been getting on base all season so far. Time to change the approach maybe?
The absolute abandonment of Kirk's contact skills needs to be studied. He went from being a strong bat-to-ball guy to abjectly terrible for no real reason (it's not "he's fat" becuase he was always fat.)
