3-5 mill. Depends on how he plays this and next season and if he wants a one year or two year deal etc.
I don't see Plekanec re-upping in Montreal if he reaches the end of his current contract without being traded away first.
I think he goes UFA and tests the market.
Luckily, for him, it will be after the expansion draft so there won't be so much penny pinching being done across the league.
I don't think he gets his current value, but I could see 3.5-4m for a short term 2-3yr deal. After that, probably back to Europe.
I'm a huge fan of Plekanec, so hopefully it works out for him.
