Why does the NFL ever leave LA?

Because it's a transient state where a lot of the inhabitants aren't from the area originally, therefore they follow other teams instead of the local ones. The league wants a team or teams there because it's a huge tv market, but drawing fans to the games and to buy season tickets is a tough sell.

OT, but now that every state has legalized it, does anyone know if there are any arenas/stadiums that refuse to do business with the UFC? I laughed at a hypothetical thought of MSG refusing to do business with the UFC after all this. Obviously not going to happen, as they already booked dates with MSG prior to legalization.

I assume. The first UFC event in NY will be at Barclays.
