I’ve done the lotto simulator once on two different days (when it was way lower odds than the 12.5%) and we won both times. So I’m convinced.

For the pessimistic folks, our 12.5% odds are right in between the 2nd & 3rd last place teams odds in a normal year. Not bad

Edmonton have had like 4 #1 picks in the last decade. Toronto have had one recently. Pittsburgh basically got three on the bounce. The Rangers have effectively never picked first.

We all know what's going to happen...

Picks 2-8 are set in stone. There is no getting in there unless they trade for it.

So no odds either. We have a 12.5% to get the 1st overall pick. And a 87.5% chance of landing pick 10 or 11.

Perhaps. I think Florida is less of a threat to us though, even if they're in our conference. They can't get out of their own way
