After last nights loss I began to wonder how bad comparatively our playoff OT record was compared to other teams since the 04-05 lockout, I was extremely bored today and I thought the results were interesting enough to post.

Anaheim Ducks- 10-8
Boston Bruins- 16-11
Buffalo Sabres- 7-6
Calgary Flames- 1-3
Carolina Hurricanes- 7-4
Chicago Blackhawks- 18-12
Colorado Avalanche- 7-7
Columbus BlueJackets- 2-0
Dallas Stars- 4-7
Detroit Redwings- 9-11
Edmonton Oilers- 3-1
Florida Panthers- 0-2
Los Angeles Kings- 9-8
Minnesota Wild- 5-5
Montreal Canadiens- 7-10
Nashville Predators- 2-5
New Jersey Devils- 8-6
New York Islanders- 0-2
New York Rangers- 6-13
Ottawa Senators- 7-5
Philadelphia Flyers- 8-7
Phoenix Coyotes- 4-3
Pittsburgh Penguins- 9-8
San Jose Sharks- 15-7
St. Louis Blues- 3-5
Tampa Bay Lightning- 1-2
Toronto Maple Leafs- 0-2
Vancouver Canucks- 9-10
Washington Capitals- 8-9
Winnipeg/Atlanta- 0-0

One other thing I noticed was 9 out of the 13 New York Rangers Playoff OT losses occurred within the first 8 minutes of OT. Hopefully the luck turns around eventually:yo:

To be honest, I was pleasantly surprised it was even 6-13. Thought it was much worse.

I would rather the Rangers be where they are then a choking dog team like San Jose. That team is the biggest bunch of chokers this decade, lol they're 15-7 I would never believe that. Anyway, the Rangers have won some big overtime games.

well said!

Kind of disagree. The Morrow goal ended that series. That was tougher.

Yup. And it came at the hands of our biggest rival. Game 2 pales in comparison to that heartbreaker.

I have the all time numbers if you're interested, but they're not much more flattering. Head to head, what stands out most is NYR's 0-6 against the Islanders and 7-1 against the Leafs.
