I've been on the Dorofeyev hype-train for a year now haha. Even when people were talking about Spiridonov instead. Doro has developed immensely this season.

- Both are early birthdays
- Both played u20 tournaments but missed the WJC in their D-year
- Both played a significant portion in the KHL in their D-year
- Both are stylish playmakers who play a good possession game

Anyway, back to Reunanen. His season has been phenomenal. He has been one of the most exciting players to watch on Lukko, even for non-Ranger fans. He has not been perfect, but he has done so many creative things that don't show up on the scoresheet. This is why you have to watch these players and not just base it off numbers and box scores. What Reunanen did here today, is impressive. Like Kravtsov, who does things that translate very well to other leagues because it has nothing to do with rink size, style etc. It's creativity. They take advantage of the situation and adapt based on what happens around them. It doesn't look like a rehearsed move that players sometimes force and results in a turnover.

He has played 1 full season in Liiga. I've said it before, but I have no problem with Tarmo staying in Finland for another year. Let him play another full season and earn a spot on the top pair for the entire year before coming over.
