They're granted an automatic bronze medal every year and in return René Fasel gets to keep his apple farm in Krasnodar.

So if the US doesn't win Gold, Canada finishes lower than 5th and Finland finishes lower than 4th, Russia will be ranked #1 after the 2024 Worlds
