This is why I'm PRAYING that SNA is *indeed* selected as the winner and the Devils goal-song going forward.

It's not RRP2 but it still allows some semblance of FUN to permeate the Rock's atmosphere unlike the other two abortions we listened to.

Have to agree on this point. I find the whole exercise really annoying, think it was silly to do in the first place, get the arguments that have flown back and forth since this was announced, etc. etc. etc. ...but once the game starts, it's time to leave the crap at the door and cheer the team.

I won't boo anymore regardless, this ends on Saturday one way or another. If it's SNA, I'll cheer when the song plays. If it's the other two, I'll just sit down like I did on Tuesday night.

To me it will be a major victory if SNA wins. It's truly the best alternative if management is going to be this prissy about the whole thing. At least you can have fun with the song. The Whip MAYBE so if it was played at a regular sound level. Righteous Smoke was just an abortion that I hope we never hear again. Good to see Bon Jovi is not an option.

However looks like the fan support that Gaslight Anthem, FOB and MCR were supposed to have completely faded. I was sorta shocked (but I'm not at the same time considering this whole thing is pretty much rigged anyway) that none of those were picked.

I hope SNA wins and our celebrations are wild. Also I wanna see random SNA chants with jumping like in this video occur.

European pro sports are even better than college, but the same idea. If we could get a college sports/euro type of atmosphere it would be not only unique to the NHL but NA sports in general. Not to mention it would be completely awesome.

Given the information the Devils rep gave me, I'm pretty shocked SNA is even up for voting.

But since the last vote was rigged anyway, it wouldn't shock me if SNA still ended up losing as one of the other songs "made a last minute comeback and we gave you the song you wanted!".

This song is going to win by a landslide.... then how is the team going to get out of it and explain that to us? I like SNA... it was the best of the three. The song on Tuesday was a pop-folk song... Good song... but not hockey worthy.

The song from Tuesday might be used by half the league. Toronto used it, Dallas, Columbus, Detroit. Completely unoriginal and lame.
