With his injury history, it feels surprising to me that Bertuzzi would risk a 1 year deal if he has 5-7 year offers out there, but could be an interesting option if he's looking for a spot to rebuild his value and cash in when the cap goes up next year.

When I suggested that I was okay with trying Bertuzzi for a single season I didn't think it was actually a possibility. Go for it, if it's reasonable. At the very least, he's a lot like Michael Bunting someone who fit in nicely here then got himself a life-changing pay day yesterday.
