The team is worse today, how anyone can give us anything about an F is scary. I blame Tre, but man of man Dubas sure left a complete mess, the apex of his mistakes coming to roost. Murray is an albatross, we have zero wiggle room, the farm is empty and we had no picks.

Still time, but this isn’t a cup contender anymore, not a serious one anyways. Now brace ourselves for overpays on our two spoiled UFA’s.

I honestly don’t like this team right now, it’s the bizarre allegiance to the crest that keeps semi invested atm.

I would say that Murray is a buy out candidate and Nylander is probably on his way out In exchange for a D man.

Crazy to suggest that adding the current Norris trophy winner would make it worse. But you may not be wrong on our side of the blue line.

He's a defensive liability and he doesn't need to unseat anyone from PP1. That's a massive waste of $11m.

the so called 11 AAV guys have to drive their own lines. I am sick of the high AAV players wanted to play together to bump up their own production and not take any responsibility to carry a line while taking lion 's share of the cap.

Murray's comments at the time of playoffs, especially at the locker clearout day where he said he was ready to go. Would be a hard sell LTIR story for him with the league. I wish we could "Lupul" him; but that would be hard.

That guy's ready to go until he has to go, then he's out for months with stage fright.

Murray was a disaster.

Samsonov had a good regular season but who cares? He was good in half the playoff games. That's not a goalie I want to hitch my wagon to.

Kallgren was also a disaster. We were lucky he got hurt too, giving Woll a chance nobody wanted to give otherwise

Well it's too late now but I would've kept Schenn around as Rielly's partner, especially at his cap hit. I don't mind Klingberg but he's not the right type of player an already soft team needs.

Erik Johnson would've been a nice addition, but at this point he's worse than Schenn and got paid more.

If you wanna go big game hunting I'd offer Marner for Rasmus Anderson or Nylander for Pesce. Both top pairing RD that'd help fix this mess

Murray buyout ain't gonna be pretty he has a 2 AAV cap hit for the Leafs next season right when Matthews' contract will kick in (assuming Matthews re-signs). we techncially have only 11 players signed (not including matthews) and will have to re-sign bunch to fill the roster
