Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Losing ROR at 4.5? But sign Kampf for 2.4? Is our GM an idiot? What the hell is happening to this team. We’re losing all of our grittiest players.

We really need a difference maker upfront. As far as I’m concerned, if we don’t add one of Duchene or Bertuzzi… today should be considered a failure.

Exactly - obviously a number of teams would have offered him more than 800k if he was open to bids.
He's American as well so no reason that he'd favour Toronto.

Nothing inherently wrong with a Reaves signing if it was a 6 pack of other moves and re-ups. The term is too long but you can bury most of that salary. And if he holds up I’m sure he can be flipped to a team that needs window dressing toughness. The big wild card is if he can change the energy in this team.
Not if his agent has anything to do with it. Love to have him back though. Bunting back on a discount deal? A trade for Zadorov seems like a foregone conclusion.
Ive been pretty critical of the leafs lately but the hate and vitriol in here today is hard to stomach.
