It really is. I don't think ROR was gonna sign here regardless. The Leafs likely offered around the same thing if I'm a betting man.

I don't think Keefe playing him at 3C helped matters much. He'll definitely help replace what NSH lost with Johansen and Duchene departing from the club. I do agree with you about the Leaf offer to him likely being quite competitive.
