Acciari got eliminated in 2nd roudn and still led the playoffs in hits
Dude is the player we need
ROR easily.Kampf + Reeves + 800k or ROR?
In the 2018 Finals, Wilson knocked Marchessault out while Reaves was on the bench, and Washington went on to win in 5. It was only months later in the regular season that Reaves got “revenge” by knocking down Wilson and laughed in his face.
I guess the plan is for the Leafs to sick Reaves on Bennett or whoever else wrongs us but he’s going to be a non-factor in the playoffs.
Fairly good contract for ROR (a touch more term to bring the AAV down a tad). He's going to get a great (better?) opportunity playing C for NSH. Trotz apparently scouting the Leafs extensively!
What's the tax rate there vs here?4 years is a lot for ROR but for $4.5M? I would have done that.
Finally, someone who gets it.What is $4.5 factoring in Ontario taxation?
Take home would be $6.00What is $4.5 factoring in Ontario taxation?
Was just about to post the same thing..
Leafs weak defense core at present allowed Luke Schenn to end up on the top pairing beside Rielly and look really good in 11 playoff games with 1 assist and parlayed that into a 3 year deal @ $2.75 mil.
Luke Schenn is a great guy but a 3rd pairing guy like he was in TB during their Cup runs and you can't pay 3rd pairing guys that amount to be successful.
It was him or Kampf I think.Just re-sign Acciari at this point
I want duchene at this point. Was hoping for brown too but sounds like oilers for him
Glad they passed on ROR
Schenn was steep.. but could be worth it… better than laying Reaves
Footspeed and age is a issue with ROR, I also think the no taxes in Nashvile changed the cap hit for him in comparison to Toronto4 years is a lot for ROR but for $4.5M? I would have done that.
ROR is past his prime looked slower than Tavares.Glad they passed on ROR
