For 7 years combined. I actually like Reaves on a one year deal. 3 is nuts. I just can't get excited about Kampf.
If the Leafs are going to add tough guys, they might as well just have a monster 4th line. Don't mute it by adding soft guys with Reaves. Add Hathaway and another grinder. Play them 5 minutes and have them stare down the other teams bench all game.

Reaves will allow the softies like mathews, marner taveres and nylanders to play better and less scared... The problem is that reaves would have to play every single game including playoffs. And just like with simmonds, clifford and martin leafs will probably scratch him after half the season for a better 4th liner which means the team will go back to getting pushed around and bullied by tougher and meaner teams
If I were on shrooms, this Kevin Weekes segment would be tripping me out.
I'd rather not overpay anyone. The lost cap space of overpaying anyone really hurts.

I know what you are saying but we seem to keep circling the same wagon. This team of top heavy forwards taking up the bulk of the salary cannot win. A new Gm does not have the authority to over haul it correctly. Therefore it cannot and will not ever win until all these people are out. Ownership, management and players.
