Home Openers have been announced for all 32 teams stretching from 10/11 to 10/26 depending on which franchise....;

appears we'll see more interconference crossovers than in recent years during the Regular Season as San Diego opens in the East against the Marlies; Bakersfield is now committed to interconference travel this year....

Hershey draws Rosemont, IL (CAR) 4 GMS; unlikely Coachella Valley can extend for three consecutive Conference championships.... but we'll see how it'll play out

not to get too far ahead but there are discussions in progress that the AHL will have a 23 team playoff format for next season's run to the Calder

The Milwaukee Admirals will play 4 games against Cleveland and Charlotte; 2 games against Hartford and Springfield. They will be the "new" teams on the schedule.

They will play 4 games against Henderson, again.

The rest will be against the usual division opponents.

Dropping off of the schedule will be Belleville, Colorado, San Diego and Toronto.

For fun, I like to put this matrix together when the schedule comes out each year, because I like to see the disparity between every team's schedule.

What's really interesting about this year's schedule is that every Western Conference team only plays between 10-12 opponents, whereas every Eastern Conference team plays between 13-17 opponents, which makes sense given the proximity in the East.

As a Checkers fan, I wish there were more teams closer to us, so that we wouldn't have to have a 2-game homestand for every team that comes to town (they've done 3-game homestands in the past too, when they'd play a team 6 times). But at least they're not boring like Chicago/Rockford and only play 10 teams lol.

Milwaukee is one of 5 teams to play games against all four divisions. I look forward to the Admirals playing the Checkers again.
The Wolves play next to O'Hare airport, what is their excuse?

No Atlantic teams play any Pacific teams.

consequence of the Pacific being created and the loss of Manchester and Worcester to the ECHL; then the transfer of Springfield which became Tucson the next season which forced Springfield under new ownership to acquire Portland at that point.... with only SPR/HFD/PRO/BRI remaining except for the pandemic seasons.... is why no Atlantic teams play the Pacific teams since 2014/15
