Confirmed with Link: Nemeth dumped to Arizona

Meh, it's not great but not nearly as terrible as some of you are making it out to be.

It's basically Nemeth for a 2nd.

Emberson is an AHL player that might have an NHL future who was picked in the 3rd round and the conditional pick is a 3rd or 2nd rounder. Probable wash.

We need every freaking cent we can get this year and the buyout or burying would've cost dollars. Nemeth fell off a cliff last year. It happens.

Well, Emberson isn't playing over Fox or Trouba and I sure as hell hope he won't be playing over Schhneider or Lundkvist

You take some bad with the good.

The Copp trade was only 'bad' in hindsight. It was objectively good that we made it as far as we did.

As far as free agency; if anything, Dru showing restraint and not displaying a "must sign him now, because lost assets" mindset is a good thing. Copp was injury prone and not a tried and true centerman.

Don't know what Emberson's value is today, but I'd expect it's less then a 3rd. Isn't looking like a future NHLer.
