NBCSN has added the home games next week against Tampa Bay and Ottawa to the national network but NESN will still have exclusive coverage in New England ( except Fairfield County )

Center Ice will also be free on US cable systems from April 3rd to the 9th.

Tuesday, April 4 – NBCSN has flexed out of its originally-scheduled Blackhawks-Avalanche matchup to present an NHL doubleheader with playoff implications. Coverage begins at 7 p.m. ET, when the Tampa Bay Lightning visit the Boston Bruins, as both teams vie for a spot in the playoffs. Coverage continues at 10:30 p.m. ET, when Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers visit the Los Angeles Kings, with Edmonton pushing for its first division title in 30 years.

Thursday, April 6 – NBCSN has flexed out of Predators-Stars to present live coverage of the Ottawa Senators at Boston Bruins at 7 p.m. ET. Coverage continues at 10 p.m. ET, when the Pacific Division-leading Anaheim Ducks host the Western Conference-leading Chicago Blackhawks.

Sunday, April 9 — On the final night of the NHL regular season, Sunday, April 9, NBCSN will showcase “whip-around†coverage at 7 p.m. ET, providing live look-ins across the slate of games with playoff implications. The program will also look ahead to first-round matchups as the playoff picture becomes clearer towards the end of the night.

I assume the 3 PM start for the WSH@BOS game is pretty firm, then, right? I know they'll occasionally bump games around, especially late in the season, but it's getting kind of late to make changes to the schedule. Really don't want it bumped to the evening....

Kind of weird that NBC took both DAL/BOS games. Why? I mean, can we please give the Tyler Seguin narrative a rest? Seems kind of crummy of NBC to keep Jack away from both games, but he HAS been a vocal proponent of trading inter-conference games for divisional games. You'd think they'd discourage NBC from repeating matchups...particularly inter-conference ones that aren't a rivalry or a big hockey market for both teams.

The plan was for Dave Strader to do both games but he was not able to work last night as he is having problems with chemo

Ah, I remember that now....still, of all the Dallas games available, seems odd that they'd do both Bruins, but hey, if they're trying to work around his chemo schedule or his illness, I'm all for that.

FYI, Center Ice is available on Verizon FiOS right now. Channels 1475-1488, standard definition only - don't be a dummy like I was a few years ago and only look for the HD, because you won't get it. I'm hate-watching the Islanders right now. (Well, not really hate-watching, but considering the standings, it's the only game I can get into, and they're the only team to root against.) On FiOS, they usually split Center Ice with its MLB counterpart, which is why we get the free SD preview - it's really an MLB preview for the start of baseball.

I hope they aren't blacked out on the NBC Sports app. I work nights and can only watch B's games on NBCSN on weekdays

My guess is that NBC uses the TSN5 feed for the Ottawa game. They don't want to use Jack Edwards on a national game.
