Didn't appear too diverse to me...

http://nhl.nbcsports.com/2017/07/31...diverse-schedule-ever-for-2017-18-nhl-season/

Kings have 12 appearances.

Opening with the Flyers on 10/5 and on 10/18 (home game vs Habs) in one of the 5 Wens Nightcap (WC teams) games slated for this year

Full schedule here

Kings have an NBCSN back to back Thurs Jan 18 home vs Pens and Friday the 19th away in Anaheim

These are probably the only Kings games i'll see because i'll be blacked out here in Vegas, plus I work nights so investing in NHL.tv doesn't seem worth it.

NBC shows mostly east coast games. I would like to see real rivalry games, like Edmonton vs Calgary. They show a lot of fake rivalry games, like any rivalry game that includes the Red wings.

Their idea of rivalry's is a joke, just like the hype they use for original 6 match ups. They had Minn-Fla last season and called it a rivalry game.

How the hell did that happen?:amazed:

Also:

-For the first time since 2011-12, no Kings-Sharks games will be broadcast nationally on NBC or NBCSN. For the first time since 2012-13, no Kings-Avalanche games will be broadcast on NBC or NBCSN.

Looks like we don't get to hear the non-biased calls everytime Burns takes a shot from the point and scores.

Kings Vs. Sharks are terrible games anyway.

Quick is either lights out, or gives up 5 GA. Seems strange when the two teams meet.

With Vegas moving in you might not be anymore. It sure sounded like fox lost that market for hockey.

The addition of VGK is why I assume i'll be blacked out, they aren't gonna let hockey games be shown on FSW & FSPT (i'm sure i'll still get all the other stuff) in a market where they have a local team.

12 games for a non playoff team the year before. It's not like we warrant that many with the changes we did this offseason.

NBC is trying to make money off of this.

Unfortunately hockey is tribal and not national and they are going to cater to the tribes that watch the most.

Fortunately the west coast teams get shown more than they would because of the double headers.
