OT: Nats, Wiz, O's, Ravens, Terps, Navy, Gtown, Mystics, Golf | 2024-25

Look forward to the stadium design details. Hopefully some type of retractable roof.
Previous articles about this not posted on this site (on the commanders reddit) indicated Bowser and the team are very interested in a domed stadium

it would be awkward especially in winter where the elements should play a factor. I don't want to be watching football in the dome in 70 degree weather in december

My wish is a retractable dome naturally to get the best of both worlds. Dome will help DC with an all year venue.

Wizards will receive the 18th, 19th, or 20th overall this pick via Memphis as a result of Memphis earning the 8th seed last night with their win over Dallas. Pretty great trade — they got a mid first for taking on Marcus Smart’s contract.

Weird to be optimistic about the Wizards but I believe the basketball gods will reward them with 1OA for trying and winning their last game. Utah should drop as far as they can, their tank was a disgrace.

Agreed there are some useful players that will be drafted around there. Also if there is someone they like in the late lottery it is not too far to jump up.

For me there is still the top 3 of Flagg/Harper/Bailey. Losing the lottery and finishing 6th is no big deal (versus 5th if they finished last).

Coolibaby was disappointing this past season. He had a couple of stretches where it looked like things were coming together but for the most part that was not the case. He still drives the net at times and you can actually tell he has no clue what to do. Not sure how much that can be taught. Kinda feeling he's looking more like a defensive specialist. Guard future they look pretty good with Poole/Bub/AJ. George can also bring the ball up. I do believe Harper will probably have the most immediate impact as a rookie.

Props to Bub playing in every game of the season

One of the most brutal gags I've seen lately from Dahmen, three straight bogeys to lose by one, on a course where he'd already snatched his sole PGA Tour win a few years ago.

JT appears to be all the way back from his slump, too... good for the USA that it's happening in a Ryder Cup year.

Aside from driver, everything failed him late…irons, wedges, putter. Such a likable guy but man he struggles mentally.

Wiz voted as the second worst franchise. Keefe named worst coach
Didn’t watch much Wiz this year….what do you more regular NBA watchers say to that?

Wasn’t he seen as a developmental HC?

I assumed he was basically a caretaker-type hire (See: G. A. Hanlon) during this particular rebuild while we suck with heart and draft/develop a few future stars (hopefully)?

I thought Keefe was fine. His job was to help develop their young players as fast as they can and the quickest way was by playing. There were some times in the middle part of the season I started to question some of his player rotations but towards the end where they parked the veterans felt we could see the development improvement of the three first rounders and AJ Johnson. Also lets talk about double 00 finally a 2nd rounder that looks like a player.

Not sure if it was posted but MASN did announce starting yesterday one can stream local games without a terrestrial cable provider. I just did it through amazon via FireTV.

Wonder if the Nationals go back up for sale this off seasons being that they will have their broadcast right back.
