For what it's worth, this short article mentions a party sponsored by the LAPD from 5-9 tomorrow night as part of a National outreach to reinforce in the community that 'cops are people too'

..., the block party at Third Street and Traction Avenue will feature live bands, a DJ, players from the Los Angeles Kings and Clippers, and some food trucks.
