Always like Lauzon. Would be a good fit.

If he is not available others to think about:

If Vegas needs to shed salary I wonder what McNabb would cost? Would they take Lizotte?

There is always smoke around Chychrun. Would it be smarter to get a true #2, move Matty down to protect Spence or Clarke on the second pairing and move Gavrikov out for a winger?

You're probably not gonna get Lauzon for anything other than an overpayment. Bruno and Trotz seem to like him.

Don't see Trotz doing this trade. While I'm not high on Lauzon they are dealing a player they relied quite a bit on in an area they lack depth for a borderline young player in a position they are very deep in organizationally.

We really need defense and have too many wingers coming up, that is if they aren't waived or traded for crap.

Yeah, not many of us Preds fans like Lauzon much, the coaching staff seems to vastly overutilize him. He's not very good defensively, but he does pile up hits. That said, the Preds lost McDonagh already, and seem set to let Carrier go, so there are gaping holes on what was already a very weak defense, and there's no way Lauzon would be traded in the proposed deal.
